Welcome to Creative Neighbors, a weekly, back-to-basics gathering for all kinds of creativity — writing, painting, drawing, or whatever lights you up.

This project is part of Frances Creates and follows in the footsteps of my past communities - Kansas City Poetry Slam, The Writing Workshop KC, and Salt Tooth Writers - which, since 2014, have brought thousands of creatives together to make, share, and grow.

Here’s what to expect:

• Class is on Zoom every Thursday at 7 p.m. CT. <- Click the underlined link to launch the classroom.

• Pay-what-you-can model ($10/session or $40/month suggested, min. $1) Venmo @FrancesCreates or Patreon

• 3 prompts + 15 minutes of uninterrupted creative time per prompt (or bring your own project to work on). Generally, Frances will be writing.

    • Optional, friendly sharing (no critiques, positive feedback only)

    • Curriculum delivered via Patreon

    • Voluntarily submitted responses will be shared with the world on Substack

    • Zoom for Fall semester; possible in-person meetups in Spring
